Greetings Partners!
I hope you are having a wonderful summer. I am reaching out to ask for your help. With the Labor Day weekend coming and the high temperatures forecasted over the next few days the Mt. Hood National forest is looking for opportunities to tell our fire prevention message. We are NOT in public use restrictions, but we have an organized effort right now to promote our fire prevention message.
A key concern for the Mt Hood National Forest right now is thenumber of abandoned campfires. The number one message leading into the holiday weekend is basic: Remember to drown, stir, feel your campfire and drown stir and feel it again to ensure it is cold.
The two attached posters could be shared with your networks or on social media. Or follow the Mt. Hood’s facebook page or twitter feed (search for “The Forest Service-Mt. Hood National Forest” on facebook or Mt. Hood NF on Twitter) and share our messages to your social media audiences.
Respectfully,
Rachel LaMedica
