Annual Meeting a Huge Success

Annual meeting 2019

Over 170 Cabin owners gathered at the Welches Middle School on Saturday, July 13, 2019 to view cabin security options and participate in a panel of Forest Service personnel from Zigzag Ranger station - 8 in total including Bill Westbrook, District Ranger; Greg Martin, Permit Administration; Jon Mireles, Zigzag Law Enforcement Officer; David Lebo, Botanist; Jeff Goldberg, Botanist specializing Cougar and Bear; Bill Mitchell, Zigzag Road Manager; David Bihr, Asst Fire Management officer on the Mt Hood National Forest and Nathan Fletcher, Special Use Permit Administration Supervisor.

The food was fabulous, the weather was perfect and the panel answered questions for over an hour.  Many raffle prized were issued and feedback from attendees were pleased and stated it was an excellent meeting.

The new website was outlined and will be going live in the next few months.  For all those that sign in once receiving their welcome letter will be entered into a raffle for a $250 pendelton wool blanket of Mt Hood.  Stay tuned for more information!
