Approved Cabin Address Signs

Published on 1/2/2020

This is an update from Greg Martin at the Zigzag Ranger Station regarding the current address signs approved for our cabins:

Cabin Address Sign

The current brown carsonite address numbering signs (pictured on the left) in the recreation residence tracts were installed previously in conjunction with Hoodland Fire & Clackamas County and are identical to what Hoodland is currently offering.

If a permit holder is missing their address identifier (I know some have been run over, etc…) they can call or send me an e-mail and I will coordinate getting them a new brown carsonite post. I have a surplus of posts, but the permit holder will have to purchase their own reflective numbers and they can easily duplicate a new sign using their 5-digit address identifier. I can also loan out a stamper to help them tap it in the ground. If needed, I can bring some of the carsonite posts to the next annual meeting as well.

If a permit holder would like to order a replacement through Hoodland Fire, that is perfectly fine as the design and location of the post was previously approved for use in the recreation residence tracts.
